The Third Age Players (TAP) is a drama group of Milton Keynes U3A, which for over 25 years has produced a variety of shows. We offer you a warm welcome. Perhaps you’ve had a nagging ambition to be – just once in your life – an actor?  Or maybe you like the idea of helping to design or build the scenery, or choosing the right costumes or hairstyles for the cast, or making audiences feel welcome when they arrive at the theatre?

An interesting aspect of recent productions is co-operation between TAP and another part of the MKU3A – the Advanced Photography group. Members of that group attend several rehearsals and take striking action pictures that contribute to media exposure in advance of the plays. A further unique input comes from Derek Mynard. A talented local artist, he attends some rehearsals and creates delightful cartoons which feature in the publicity and the programme.

It couldn't be a better time to come along and be part of it all as we are now rehearsing for our next production: "High Tea, Laced with Murder".  This is a Murder Mystery, with the audience enjoying a four course tea in between the action, after which t hey will be invited to solve the murder. We are particularly looking anyone who would like to dip their toes into thespian life with a small, supporting part, or if not acting, to be part of the production crew.

Please contact us, every one is welcome - Greta: email: tap@mku3a.org for all information. Meetings are held every Tuesday morning - 10.00 -12.30pm at Wavendon Community Centre MK17 8LH.
